The most important sport meeting will take place in Slovakia in year 2009.
The water slalom is the most successful Slovak olympic sport.
It was again reconfirm in the olympic games 2008 in Peking. European Canoe Association approved to organize the European Junior and Under 23 Championships in Liptovsky Mikulas.
This importatnt event will be organized by KTK Dukla Liptovsky Mikulas, the club in which the olympic winners grew up. We expect 370 sportsmen from 27 European countries. THE PATRONAGE OVER THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS JUNIOR AND U23 Ing. Jaroslav Baška - minister of defence, Slovak Republic.
